I will provide BASIC MC services such as basic/minimal announcements for events. For more detailed MC requirements for Weddings, Corporate Events, etc, the client needs to provide/hire an MC to maintain the flow/timeline of their event and keep their guests entertained. My primary responsibility and goal is to provide you with a good music experience.

Yes, I do require a 50% non-refundable deposit of your total cost of services. Your deposit is due at the time you sign your contract.
No, your event date WILL NOT be booked/secured in my calendar if a deposit is not made, regardless of if you signed the contract. Deposits are due at the time you sign the contract.
No, ALL balances must be paid prior to your event. NO SERVICES will be rendered until your balance is paid in full.
If the client is a business entity, organization, etc and paying with a corporate check, the non-refundable deposit is still required to book services. However, if your business entity is not permitted pay the balance prior to services being rendered, I am willing to accept payment within 14 days/net 14 days (2 weeks) of services being rendered.

I prefer Cash App, but Cash, and Corporate Checks are accepted. I don't accept personal checks.
In the event the Client must reschedule their event for any reason, a new service contract will be initiated, and I reserve the right to increase the cost of services if any aspects of the event structure affecting my duties, performance, equipment requirements, travel, etc is different than originally planned. In the event of a rescheduling, all monies the Client paid for their original event will be credited toward their newly rescheduled event. If I am unable to provide services for the Client’s rescheduled event for any reason, the Client will be entitled to a refund within 7 days of all monies paid, EXCEPT for the non-refundable deposit.
The Client may cancel their agreement prior to the event date with written notice to Gary Brown. Upon cancellation, the Client will be entitled to a refund of all monies paid EXCEPT for the non-refundable booking deposit. Client's refund will be provided within 7 days of receiving the Client’s written cancellation.
The DJ (Gary Brown) (DJ G.B.) may cancel this agreement with written notice to the Client. If the DJ has to unfortunately cancel for your event, a suitable replacement DJ subject to the Client's approval will be provided at no additional cost. In the event of a replacement DJ provided by Gary Brown, I will send all pertinent information to include song selections to the replacement DJ. If a replacement DJ can't be provided or the replacement DJ is not approved by the Client, a full refund including the deposit will be provided within 7 days of the written notice of cancellation.
